Leaving a gift in your will is called making a bequest. This is a future charitable donation. Leaving a gift in your will to the Armenian Relief Society of Eastern US, Inc. enables your lifetime passions to live on without affecting your day to day living. Bequests are for everyday people just like you, and can be as much or as little as you wish.
Since 1910, ARS Supporters like you have made it possible for us to make a meaningful impact in our communities and our homeland. Working together, you make it possible for the ARS to transform lives and communities to renew hope and provide life-giving opportunities.
Your gift, large or small, can have a lasting impact well beyond your lifetime and make an impactful change in so many people’s lives.
Your gift will be used to benefit our projects serving people where it is needed most (unless you specify otherwise in your will). Since the ARS of Eastern USA is unlikely to receive your gift until further into the future, it’s most beneficial to those we are helping if its terms are as general as possible given that needs, priorities, and projects change over time. However, if you have specific wishes, please contact us.
When you choose to leave a bequest to ARS of Eastern US you need a will. A will lets you say how you want your property dealt with when you pass away. Because of the importance of your will, the law says it must be made in a prescribed manner. We strongly recommend seeking legal advice when drafting, updating or amending your will to include a gift to our organization.
